Leslie Homan, the creative force behind Femme metale, a Corona-based jewelry company whose motto is "sterling silver jewelry that rocks", is set to launch her new company, Underground Hound.  Knowing Leslie's eight years of experience as president of her own successful business, Corona tattoo artists Lacey McClellan and Dejah Garcia approached her with a unique concept:  sterling silver dog charms with a tattoo and rock ‘n roll aesthetic. The high-quality and sturdy charms are easily attached to a dog collar and can also be worn by the dog’s owner on a silver chain or leather Choker. Lacey and Dejah, formerly of Hart and Huntington Tattoo in Las Vegas, Nevada, provide the creative inspiration for the new line, which also features doggy t-shirts and handmade leather collars.

Leslie said of the new venture, "There is a definite need in the pet accessories industry. Until now there was no alternative to all the fluffy, pink crystal items for fashionable dogs of trendsetting owners. Underground Hound fills that niche with fun and campy designs." "Born to Beg" and “Dog's Ruin" are a few of the clever expressions a dog could sport around its neck or on its back.

Underground Hound is based in Corona, CA. Dejah Garcia and Lacey McClellan, who have appeared on the television show Inked, are the company's designers. Leslie Homan is in charge of marketing and customer relations. For more information or to place an order, contact the Mutt Mistresses at 951-372-9991.
